Dawn Eden: Convert from Judaism

November 12, 2012 Conversion Stories, Jewish

Dawn Eden grew up in a reformed Jewish household in New York City.  Her parents split up when Dawn was five so, living with her mother and sister, her father was not very present in her life.  At age 13, Dawn had her bat mitzvah but she began to be pulled into agnosticism.  Following college, she became a music journalist and lived the secular lifestyle.  Dawn describes how past pains continued to affect her yet, through God’s grace, she was slowly being led to a healthier place and a deeper understanding of faith.  It was the writings of G.K.Chesterton that started her journey home to the Catholic Church.
