Kenneth Cramer, grandson to Italian immigrants, grew up in Chicago. Though nominally Catholic, there was not much offered as foundation in the faith. In fact, an abusive father directly attributed to a distrust of authority in Kenn and led him to leave home at age 16. He began a period of drug use which included an overt attempt to end his life. He survived, graduated high school and then moved to Colorado to live with friends. His freewheeling lifestyle continued. Kenn shares the story of his journey from agnostic to beginning to explore various spiritual traditions. An encounter with some Christians who were living their faith proved to have a significant impact on the direction his life would take. Ultimately, it was a powerful experience in Assisi during a post-college backpacking trip that led him into the Catholic Church.
