Dr. Matthew Bunson’s mother was Episcopalian, and his father Jewish. In the 1940’s, independent of one another, they each began an extraordinary journey to the Catholic Church: his mother after tripping over a Baltimore Catechism in the Chicago snow, and his father after helping liberate Dachau during World War II. Dr. Bunson shares what it was like to be a cradle Catholic raised by two converts, and what the generational impact of conversion can look like. He’s also a great storyteller – we think you’ll really enjoy this one!
Thank you Dr Bunson for that lovely account of your parent’s conversion story and of course how it influenced you too. I just love listening to the stories and watching videos from The Coming Home Network. God bless you. God bless the Coming Home Network and the work they do.
