Marcus welcomes former Lutheran pastor Noah Lett. Noah grew up completely non-religious and encountered Christ for the first time in his teens. St. Paul’s statement “Who are you, Lord?” resonates with Noah’s own conversion. Marcus and Noah cover issues including:

  • How do I know what God wants me to do with my life?
  • What is “conversion”? What is a “religious experience”?
  • Who is God?

Scripture verse: Acts 9:3-6

Noah Lett was born in 1956 and raised non-religious in Indiana. He married his wife, Jennifer, in 1978. He obtained his Bachelors of Arts degree in 1978 from Indiana Wesleyan University in History, Social Studies, and Religion, and a Masters of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary in 1981 and Trinity Theological Seminary in 1986. He has also done graduate studies at the University of Kentucky, and the Josephinum: a Pontifical Seminary in Columbus Ohio.

Before entering the Catholic Church in 1988, Noah was the pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Queens New York. In 1988, while home to fix lunch, he had a vision of the incorrupt body of St. Bernadette of Lourdes. At that moment he felt as if he had crossed a vast frontier. He resigned his ministry that same week and began the process to be received into full-communion with the Catholic Church.

After his conversion, he was variously employed as a Catholic schoolteacher of religion and literature, and a Director of Religious Education. In 1999, Noah was asked to become a theology advisor at EWTN, where he is presently employed.
