Open-Line With Ned South: Former Episcopal Priest

Ned and Marcus answer open-line questions from the Journey Home audience.

Ned was a cradle Episcopalian. He parents were very active in his parish. His high school he felt called to ministry but put it off until he was in his 30’s. It wasn’t until he was in seminary that he came into a deep relationship with Christ. He was ordained an Episcopal priest and served in Alabama and Ohio. In the late 1980’s and early ‘90’s the cascade of troubles in the Episcopal church and the lack of any mechanism to stop them cause him to retire early. For a couple of years he attempted to remain Anglican but finally realized that the Catholic Church he must be faithful to God’s call to become a Catholic. We must report that Ned passed to his eternal reward in 2006.
