This week’s episode of The Journey Home was the powerful story of Elvis Gutierrez, who was working in New York City as an EMT when the 9/11 attacks occurred.
In a new OTJ Short, Ken Hensley shared how the Vatican II document on Divine Revelation opens its discussion of the Scriptures.
On the latest Insights, Derek Rotty shared how a class on the philosophy of history helped spark his conversion.
And for this weekend’s Feast of the Holy Cross, we asked some of our members who grew up in churches where only bare crosses were displayed how they’ve come to appreciate the crucifix.

With the passing of James Earl Jones, several outlets recalled his conversion to Catholicism while he was serving in the army.
And some interesting facts have come out during Pope Francis’ trip to Southeast Asia and Oceania this week; including the fact that 40,000 baptisms a year are happening in Papua New Guinea.

A member struggling with scandals in Church history through the present day, another member who is wrestling with Catholic moral teachings, and all our members who are just starting OCIA classes — these are just a few of the people we are praying for and working with at The Coming Home Network. Please help us continue to support those on the journey by visiting chnetwork.org/donate today!
