Got a question about the Catholic Faith, or need assistance on your journey? The latest from CHNetwork

This week’s episode of The Journey Home was a great conversation with Santonio Hill, who was a lukewarm Catholic chasing a football career until a priest asked him a crucial question.

On a new episode of Deep in Christ, JonMarc Grodi discussed the value of imitating the virtues of the saints.

In the latest Insights video, Sam Guzman talked about why Catholic and Protestant church buildings look different.

And we shared an article unpacking the Biblical basis of the Lenten practices of prayer, fasting and almsgiving.

CONVERTS AND CONVERSION

CHNetwork members Matt and Rachel Shiels talked to their diocesan paper about their journey from Salvation Army ministry to the Catholic Church.

The Archdiocese for the Military Services shared stories of some of its members who recently participated in the Rite of Election.

The Diocese of Bridgeport also reported back on their Rite of Election and some of the people who were part of it.

And Aleteia shared the story of a French man’s journey from crime to Christ with the help of some religious sisters.

APOLOGETICS PICKS OF THE WEEK

Jimmy Akin looked at the question of whether or not Jonah died when he was swallowed by a great fish.

And Harrison Butker from the Kansas City Chiefs, a Catholic, gave a jersey and offered prayers for the Catholic woman killed at the team’s Super Bowl parade.

A member whose interest in Catholicism has estranged them from loved ones, another member who’s struggling with health difficulties as they try to enter the Church, and all our members who are participating in their first Lent this year  — these are just a few of the people we are praying for and working with at The Coming Home Network.  Please help us continue to support those on the journey by visiting chnetwork.org/donate today!

“Pray for all the saints. Pray also for kings and magistrates and rulers, and for those who persecute and hate you, and for the enemies of the cross, so that your fruit may be evident among all people, so that you may be perfect in him”

St. Polycarp of Smyrna
