James Beaumont was raised Catholic, but stopped practicing after high school. Kelli, on the other hand, was a devoted Methodist who loved the writings and heart of John Wesley. Early in their marriage, they were serving in Methodist youth ministry when they learned that some dear friends, also in Methodist ministry, were becoming Catholic. In an effort to talk those friends out of becoming Catholic, James and Kelli were confronted with several questions that caused them to examine their own presuppositions about Catholicism, and in a matter of months, they were on the road to the Catholic Church as well.
Kelli has also done a version of her story in writing: Truth and True Food Leads to Peace
