By Our Own Fault – Episode 39

Marcus Grodi and Msgr. Jeffrey Steenson continue their exploration of St. Irenaeus of Lyons’ classic work “Against Heresies,” written in the 2nd century AD.

They continue to look at what St. Irenaeus has to say about the gift of free will, and the incredible responsibility that comes along with it. We can talk about the way that we are tempted, and we can point to the ways we are influenced, but ultimately, we each are responsible for how we respond to God, whether by obeying Him, or by rejecting Him.
