David Woodby – Former Lutheran Pastor

David Woodby grew up in a generally Christian home, but as a teenager, became more serious about following Jesus. He went on to become a Lutheran pastor, but was continually troubled by the question of disunity among Christians. He saw value in many traditions, from Charismatic to Baptist to Anglican, but none of them seemed like home for him. He had a recurring dream where he was on a street full of churches, not knowing which one to enter. When the updated Catechism of the Catholic Church came out, he read through it five times, and each time, he gained a stronger sense that God was calling him to become Catholic.

David has also shared a written version of his story here.
