John Levi Davidson IV had solid Catholic influences in his life growing up, but as he got into high school, sports took center stage, and faith was not a priority for him. After he lost a football scholarship in college, he started working security at nightclubs, and before long, he was involved in relationships and lifestyles that were the antithesis of the way he’d been raised. He knew he had to revisit the faith that he’d let fall by the wayside, and when he did, he felt an enthusiasm and excitement for it that led him to want to share it with everyone, both through his work as a hip hop artist, and a Catholic educator.
