So many of us are concerned about the comings and goings of our political officials and temporal rulers, and it is right to take a strong interest in such things. But as St. Paul reminds us in Philippians 3:20, our true citizenship is in heaven, and we have to constantly remember that it is God who ultimately guards our well-being. Marcus and JonMarc Grodi reflect on these thoughts from St. Paul, as well as Psalm 4, which reminds us that it is the Lord alone who makes us to dwell in safety.
