This week’s episode of The Journey Home was an encore of our powerful discussion with Dr. Alicia Thompson, an OB/GYN whose journey toward the Catholic Faith started in part because she knew she couldn’t bring herself to perform abortions.

In a new episode of On the Journey, Matt, Ken, and Kenny began a series looking at what the Church officially teaches about Purgatory.

And on the latest Insights, Jeremy Rivera shared what we can learn about salvation from the stories of Zacchaeus and the Rich Young Ruler.

CONVERTS AND CONVERSION

King Charles recently became the first English monarch to visit St. John Henry Newman’s Birmingham Oratory.

Catholic Philly shared the story of a high school student whose journey to the Catholic Faith was sparked in large part by his experience of COVID.

Denver Catholic shared the story of a man who explored all the world religions before coming home to the Catholic Church.

And David Deavel reflected on how to handle our conversions with charity and maturity by looking at the example of St. John Henry Newman.

APOLOGETICS PICKS OF THE WEEK

Pope Leo recently met with a group of Christian Bikers at the Vatican, making for an exellent photo op of the Holy Father on a motorcycle.

Recent Journey Home guest Dr. Brandon Vaidyanathan has been awarded a significant grant to study the science of beauty and the unique way that humans interact with it.

Dr. Scott Hahn noted that no matter how you pronounce St. John Chrysostom’s name, his legacy is worth exploring.

And a newly appointed Texas bishop is the former chaplain of the San Antonio Spurs.

A member whose spouse is starting to be more open to discussing Catholicism, another member discouraged at the lack of fellowship in their parish, and all our members who are starting OCIA classes this Fall — these are just a few of the people we are praying for and working with at The Coming Home Network. Please help us continue to support those on the journey by visiting chnetwork.org/donate today!
