The latest from CHNetwork

This week’s episode of The Journey Home was a wonderful conversation with Luke Nelson, Jr., who was a Wesleyan pastor for many years before being drawn home to the Catholic Faith.

We shared a short video testimonial from Keith Nester and Kenny Burchard, two former Protestant pastors who were helped home to the Church by the assistance of the Coming Home Network.

We published the written story of Gary Morgan, a former pastor in the Cowboy Church movement, who shared the series of events that led him to consider the claims of Catholicism.

And on the latest Insights, Seth Burkholder shared how he returned to Confession after 15 years away on December 13th, the feast of St. Lucy.

CONVERTS AND CONVERSION

Aleteia looked at the life of a Protestant doctor who became a Catholic convert and hymn composer.

And with the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe this week, it’s notable that St. Juan Diego, to whom she appeared, had converted to Catholicism at age 50.

APOLOGETICS PICKS OF THE WEEK

Luke O’Hara unpacked the story of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

And Tim Staples explained the logic behind the dogma of the Immaculate Conception.

A member baptizing their first baby since they converted to Catholicism, another member celebrating the anniversary of their reception into the Church last December, and all our members who are learning new things and making new friends in OCIA — these are just a few of the people we are praying for and working with at The Coming Home Network. Please help us continue to support those on the journey by visiting chnetwork.org/donate today!
