April 18, 2011 One Comment

Fr. Brad Sweet, a native of Halifax, Nova Scotia, grew up in a family who lived out its Baptist faith.  His formation continued until Fr. Brad entered college when he joined the Salvation Army.  Upon graduation, he served three years in Zambia before moving onto England where he taught high school English. Shortly upon arriving, he started attending Sacred Heart Catholic Church and meeting with its priest.  He converted to Catholicism.  More studies earned him a Master’s Degree, after which Fr. Brad served seven years in the Naval reserves.  Upon discerning a call to the priesthood, Fr. Brad entered seminary.  Along the way, he also completed his doctorate.  Today, Fr. Brad serves as a pastor in the Canadian Diocese of Charlottetown.
