Bill & Lisanne Bales: Former Presbyterians

Lisanne was a dyed in the wool pagan for the first 20 years of her life. Bill was brought up in the Presbyterian Church but no relationship with Christ. He came to a personal relationship with Christ reading the Gospels while recuperating from major surgery. He met Lisanne and gently led her to Jesus. Together they attended Gordon-Conwell Seminary and Bill was ordained a Presbyterian (PCA) minister. Even while in seminary Bill began to wonder where the Bible came from and how and on what authority the canon of Holy Scripture developed. His pursuit of these issues ultimately led them both into full-communion with the Catholic Church.
