Dr. Dale Pollard: Former Protestant
Dr. Dale Pollard is a former Lutheran, Baptist, Assembly of God and Presbyterian. Dale joins Marcus in sharing his long journey through many strands of Protestantism into the Catholic Church. His family spent time in Seattle, WA, Huntsville, AL and Cocoa Beach, FL due to his father’s aerospace engineering job with Boeing. Led by a passion for beauty, Dale, over time, was drawn to churches that welcomed him and provided a sense of community. He continued to grow in a commitment to Christ and a calling to assist others, eventually becoming a pastor. Ultimately, it was in suffering personally, that Dale came to understand the significance of Jesus on the cross – paving the way to his family’s conversion to the Catholic Church.
