Maria Romine: Former Presbyterian

February 11, 2013 No Comments

Maria Romine explains that she was “entrenched” in the Presbyterian church of her childhood; active as a youth elder, deacon, choir member and liturgist.  Her real passion, discovered in the fourth grade, was acting.  Maria pursued theatre studies in college and then continued acting as a career, along with her administrative day job.  What started her on the road to conversion to Catholicism was being invited to work full-time with a theatre company dedicated to making scripture come alive through on-stage productions.  Maria shares the details of this journey.
