Fr. Christopher Phillips: Former Episcopal Minister

May 3, 2010 No Comments

Growing up Methodist, Fr. Phillips became an Anglican in college. Later, as an Episcopal priest, he, his wife and parishioners felt called to enter into full-communion with the Catholic Church. The Archbishop of San Antonio founded Our Lady of the Atonement parish with 18 people and Fr. Phillips, who was ordained a Catholic priest in 1983, as the pastor. It now has 600 families as well as a parish school with over 500 students, pre-k through high school. Marcus & Fr. Phillips talk about the new Anglican Ordinariate.
