Andy Scholberg: Former Lutheran

January 15, 1999 No Comments

Andy was raised a Methodist. He drifted away from faith in his teen years. He returned to faith in Christ in college. He entered Perkins School of Theology but withdrew in order to work full-time work to combat the abortion catastrophe. Later, when he was married, he became a Lutheran. After obtaining a position in a pro-life Catholic organization, he misunderstandings of the Catholic Church began to fall by the wayside. He still had many misconceptions of Catholic teachings had to be overcome, such as Purgatory, works righteousness, etc. When he was given several books defending Catholic teaching, he saw that he could no longer remain Lutheran.
