One thing I noticed and this is only meant as a general statement for ME not some kind of flame is that people from non denmoninational churches were worried about me losing salvation or things like this whereas my fellow parishoners from my Anglican or Episcopal churches and Lutheran friends were almost insulted. Many times I was asked if I not longer thought that they were "good" enough for me. I think it may be becuase of the strong Liturgical tradition inboth those churches vs. the less formal strucure of many opther protestant churches.
Accrording to the Church you have to work pretty hard to lose salvation, though we are not once saved always saved. I think you ask smart questions that need to be asked. I've been tossed out of two separate Disciple courses (Methodist) for asking questions (such as why don't be believe in the creed any more).
Yes, you will find vast differences in attitude about salvation between different Christian "sects" (as I call them). Or "faith communities" or whatever you want to call them.
