Firefox browser has some compatibility issues. I am working to fix this problem. Please use Internet Explorer for now.

I posted a message about this yesterday and informed the Firefox people of the problem.  It actually works fine, but some of the features such as the spell checker are missing.

I do normally use Firefox, so let me know if you need anything tested.

I recently tried the newest version of Firefox again, and had a lot of problems with screen refresh.  The enhanced editor options such as spellchecker and the ability to add a hyperlink easily are also missing.  I regret it, but I went back to IE7.

Firefox for the Mac has similar characteristics to the PC version, including the screen refresh problem. Since Mac OSX has a system-wide spelling checker, that is not an issue. I haven’t had occasion to add a hyperlink while using Firefox, so I can’t speak to that. The main reason I don’t use Firefox is that it is much slower than other browsers, typically taking about twice as long to load a page.

I continue to use Safari with no problems whatsoever. I do not like the implementation of WYSIWYG data entry in WowBB, preferring instead to control formatting manually, so this is a good match for me.

Thanks for the tip. I too, am a Mac user. I usually use Safari, but I had been fiddling with Firefox. I haven't tried Opera.

Hi, Paul. Opera is blazing fast, but it’s kind of quirky and buggy. I’ve tried OmniWeb; it’s great, right up there with Safari, but it’s also shareware. So it depends on whether you think the interface and features are enough better to warrant the price. Camino is so-so; some problems with compatibility and rendering. I’ve tried other browsers, such as Flock, but they are not stable enough for regular use.
