I'm a new used and just wanted to post to say hello and introduce myself. I'm a 22-year old college student. I was never brought up with any religion and while I have been interested in learning more about Christianity since I was a young teenager, I have finally started to do so seriously over the past few months. I have really been learning and reading a lot recently about the church and look forward to learning more, as well as understanding more fully about its beliefs. I am looking forward to using this forum as a resource as I continue to learn and as way to communicate with others who are going through a similar process!

Hello and welcome!
It's always nice to have people on the forum who are of the "younger generation" to which I belong. FYI, the Coming Home Network also has a youth/young adult ministry that you might possibly be interested in. It's called Quo Vadis and it's dedicated to helping young people on their journey into the Catholic Church. It provides fellowship and support through ways such as a website http://www.quovadisyouth.org, a facebook group (you can add me as a friend and I'll invite you), monthly e-newsletters that explain about Catholic doctrine (our upcoming one is on the Eucharist), a forum on this board (see CHN youth forum), we also can pair young adults who are interested in the Catholic Church with those who are Catholics to help answer and questions they have about religion and such, we are additionally looking to start weekly or biweekly chats soon. Anyway, just thought I'd let you know.
God bless you,

A warm welcome, Carolyn. I highly commend you for pursuing religious truth. We'll do all we can here to help you in determining whether Catholicism is the fullness of Christian truth (as we believe it is) or not. I had a pretty secular upbringing myself so I can relate in a lot of ways to setting out to pursue spiritual and theological knowledge. May God go with you as you seek Him.
We're a very friendly lot. I hope you like it here and find what you're looking for (forum-wise).
