besides, maybe if they touch one more thing on the server, the forum will crash again.
actually, I miss the spell check too - I write my text in a file on my computer first but I use the spell check here after I paste in my words. or is that "werdz".

I use Firefox with its built-in spell checker, so I didn't know it wasn't working. I'll look into it.

Rick, I have Firefox 2.0.0.11, and the automatic spell checker does not work for me here. It never has. Are you using a different version than me, or can you suggest something? That is very strange.

I think you have to download a dictionary. Have you ever done that? It doesn't correct the words but when I type a message, if I right-click within the message entry box and click on "Spell check this field" it puts little red lines under misspelled words, then if I right-click on the underlined words, it suggests corrections. And I am using the same version as you, 2.0.0.11.
