In the Post Reply form there is a button that says “Choose File.” Click on that and it brings up an Open File dialog. Select the file (photo) and click on Open. The photo is now an attachment. If you change your mind, it can be removed by checking “Delete attachment…” under the Choose File button.

Use a smaller picture. :D

Do you have a program that will allow you to reduce the picture’s resolution? My Macintosh, for example, came with a couple of programs that can do this.

I don't know.  I'm not very computer saavy.  I'm rather new to digital photography so I don't know how to reduce the photo.

Add it to the message as an attachment and it will display as part of the message.

I use a free online photo sharing thingy - Photobucket - they you can resize there once you upload.  Lots of people love Flickr, too.  But I ain't payin', and with them you can only upload a few per month or something.  I like Photobucket.  ETA -- I have mine set as private, so not everyone in wide internet world can see my pix.

I've never tried to use the attachment and go right from my computer.

If you have the pictures in a folder on your computer, open up the folder, select the pictures and then mail them to your self. The computer will ask you if you want to send a smaller size copy (thumbnail)- reply yes.  Once you have them attached in your unmailed email, click on the attachments to open them and save them with a new file name. These phots can then be downloaded to this site. Will not cost you a dime!

I use a free viewer called IrfanView that, among other things, allows you to reduce the size of an image.

I’m really not the guy to ask about photos. I’m a graphics professional, and I use professional software on a Macintosh. So I don’t worry much about ad hoc solutions on a PC.

However, I have used wmschrader’s e-mail method (described above) on a couple of occasions, and I can vouch for it. It is simple, and it does work with many e-mail programs.

There's the answer.  Sent it to David and let him fix it!

You know, that actually crossed my mind as I was writing my first post above.
