I'm taryn and I've been Catholic for four years this easter... (I make it sound like an AA meeting!) anyways... I was on the old QV and have missed it terribly and only now figured out it's back up! I hope to get to know all you new faces (and remember which ones were also old faces) and get the chance to talk with you about our amazing faith!
well that's all for now I guess...

taryn

Hi Taryn, welcome back! I'm new here and am really enjoying getting to know the many lovable nuts and informative people that reside on this board. I look forward to getting to know you, too. I'm a Protestant looking into Catholicism. It's quite a large picture to view!

Taryn, I think Kim should post a chart, don't you, so that we know into which category she has placed each of us. ;)

Hey!

It's good to have you back Taryn.  Hey, did you by chance get the QV newsletter?  I sent it last Friday.  I'm not sure if I have your current e-mail address.

On another note, You might want to check out the QV website at http://www.quovadisyouth.org (I'm working on improving it so please be patient) and we also have a group on facebook that you're welcome to join.  Just add me as a friend and I'll invite you.

I'm so glad you're back in the Quo Vadis bandwagon :)

so many smiling faces! well, it's good to see that we all still have our crazy senses of humor! And it's good to see that you've already realized most of the qv'ers are, in fact, insane. the first step towards recovery is admitting you have a problem...
No I don't think I got the last newsletter.... I could pm you my address! or, since you're a moderator, you may be able to look at it? But don't take my word for it. I know nothing about computers....
and thank you, dave! yeah my name is slightly unusual... it gets mispronounced in more ways than you can imagine!

Morning!

No, I'm afraid that even as a moderator I can't view people's e-mails.  So when you get a chance would you pm me?  I love getting messages :)!  Have a great day Taryn.

God bless,

How DO you pronounce it? My guess was "TARE-in" (emphasis on first syllable). Was I right?

My guess is that it rhymes with Karin, with an A cat, and RIN like tin.

yup that's right! "Tear-in". Like Karen and Sharon. Good job with the pronounciation! It's always fun when we have subs at school... I get to be "Tar-yen" and "Tear-een" and "Tarn".... or some just call me "Tara" and don't even attempt it. It doesn't bug me as much as it used to, though... I'm getting more patient.... (I hope!)
