I had a problem downloading the Reading Guide, so I moved it to Microsoft Word to see if I could download it from there. All I got was letters and numbers with page breaks but still did not get the Reading Guide. We have a new computer so I am sure that we have Adobe Acrobat File but I still am having difficulty trying to download this Guide.
Any helpful suggestions?

Make sure your Adobe Acrobat Reader is up to date. You'll find it here. You may have an older version that is not compatible with the file. The Acrobat reader is not included on most new computers by default since a dealer or manufacturer violates the Microsoft license agreement by installing software from other vendors. It is easy to install and safe, just follow the directions. Note that you are given an option to install the Google toolbar; if you don't want it, just clear the checkbox.
