Genesis 14:18
Melchizedek, priest of God, brought bread and wine.
According to the Catechism, CCC 58, King-Priest Melchizedek pre-figures Jesus Christ.
To me this is a direct correlation to the blood and body of Christ.

Wow.
kid.

Melchizadek definitely prefigures Christ, and his offering of bread and wine prefigures the Eucharist.  During ordination, a priest is told he is a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizadek.

The Catholic Encyclopedia tells us Melchizadek was also a king, so he is doubly a type of Christ.  You can read the CE entry here.  His name was also mentioned in the old Roman Canon of the pre-Vatican II mass.
