I've just found your site, and the read in one year may be what I'm looking for.  It looks ambitious, but what good thing, isn't worth the time you put into it?

Welcome to CHN, Wendy, we're glad to have you here with us.  We're looking forward to having you share your story with us, especially the derivation of your user name! :)

Blessings!

My first nite here.  I just ordered the Catechism and a book about the Church Fathers.  I am starting Pre-RCIA Inquiry next week.  I have gone from disliking the C. Church, to praying for it (so you wouldn't go to hell for your heresies) to being sucked into it's vortex.  I am a former Pastor, struggling with doctrinal issues, Mary, etc... but I LOVE mass and I am determined to uncover the truth.  I can't wait to be able to go to confession (I've started my list).  Romans 2 says that in His kindness He leads us to repentance.  Non-C. Christians are supposed to confess our sins to one another, but we wait until we are alone with God, because we can't vocalize it to another human being.  How healing, humbling and cleansing it will be!  ANYWAY, sorry to ramble.  When my Catechism gets here, I'm all over it!

Enjoy God!
