I know there are audio archives of The Journey Home on EWTN, but are there archives in video format? I know the latest show is available, but what if I want to watch an older show? Any chance of that? :) Please please??

Did you find this page on EWTN?

http://www.ewtn.com/audiovideo/index.asp

It looks like it might be video of the most recent program only.

Hi Didi! Yes, I found that link. Thanks for trying, :) I just can't seem to find a list of any video archives. The audio archives for The Journey Home are found here if anyone's interested. The newest shows are on the last page (click the double arrows).

I was hoping someone could direct me to the video version of this. But alas, they may not exist. I hunted all over EWTN to no avail. :( All I could find was the page you linked to, Didi.

Kim, do they contain more than the latest show? Can you link me to them?

Ouch! Fifteen bucks a show? I think I'll just have to content myself to listen.:(

go to EWTN.com-on the bar wher you see the choices choose video archive and keep following po up boxes till you get it. They may not have archived ALL the videos like they have the audios but they certainly have a bunch- it is in the multi media section I think

I would have liked to have been able to down lod the audio files as mp3s so that I could listen to them on my palm but alas they only offer real audio or windows media neither of which I can use on my palm :(

You can download Itunes onto any computer for free.  Once you do that you can access the major EWTN shows and others.  Once you have the Itunes downloaded click on the Itunes store and download the EWTN Audio Library.  It's easy and free.  And if you have an Ipod you can take the shows with you whereever you go.  I do it all the time.  It's not video, and it's limited but you get the major shows including Marcus's shows.

That works....

You don't need an Ipod to listen to Itunes on your computer.  But, whatever works best for you is cool.  There seems to be a larger choice on EWTN when you just use mp3's although they can be transfered to Itunes as well.

If it is not listed, then it's not available in video?  I want one particular episode, and it's not listed in the video section. :headbang:

I have no idea how to download the audio.  We have dial-up, so it would take forever. :headbang:

Suggestions? :needhelp:

Anne

Anne, if you want to PM me the specific one you're looking for, I'll be happy to serve as an extra pair of eyes to help look for it. Otherwise, --please don't be insulted, since I'm just assuming you might possibly make the sort of mistakes I often do-- I would encourage you to look again in every year. Often I have failed to locate one, at first, because I did not consider the possibility that it might be in a different year.

Hope it's at least available in the audio. Even if you can't download it, can you not listen to it through RealAudio with a dial up connection? I know the connection breaks sometimes and it's a pain, but I think you can hear it.

Just spoke with the folks at EWTN customer service. Although a certain JH video was not listed on the website, it was actually available. They were able to give me the item number so that I could then order it by phone at 1-800-854-6316.

BTW, VHS is being phased out; so they are selling those for $5.99 now.

DVD is still $15.
