Prayers really do work.  It is very strange how I prayed to God to help me find a way to get to Rome.  This was a life long dream that could never be possible.  I also asked to send me someone kind and who's good to me and my two kids.  I have prayed for a while for this.  Meanwhile I was preaching and following my faith and doing what I needed to do.  All of a sudden it seems, I've been with this wonderful man for 6 months now who is the best person in the world.  He asked if I'd go to Rome with him.  Turns out he booked a Mediterranean cruise to five countries out of Italy, then returning staying 4 days in Rome!!  I love him to death so I accepted.  Can you believe this??  God knew how I yearned to go to Rome.  To see my beautiful Vatican, to see the successor of St. Peter himself, to see the Catacombs, to see all of my Christian Catholic sights.  To be with my own people.  I can't wait.  I am going in October.

If anyone here would like to know my stories of this beautiful city as well as other cities in Italy I will be visiting, please let me know.  I will post them here when I get back.:)

Why, thank you Esther.  I will tell all about these beautiful and sad sights of our Catholic martyrs when I return.  Prayers really do work, I can't believe I am going. :)

What an enormous blessing he has given you.  Wow!  That's a huge trip.  I'm very exicted for you and pray that everything goes very well.

I'll be excited to hear all about it.

God Bless

Betty

Thanks.  I can't imagine I will be in the Catacombs with these Christian martyrs.  It will all be very overwhelming for me.  To walk the Appian Way where St. Peter was called by God.  Just can't imagine.  I am very grateful for God's abundant Blessings he bestowed on me.  I am also going to Venice and just to walk the Bridge of Sighs, where Christian martyrs walked just before they were killed.  So sad.  To be in The Colloseum where Christians were killed, probably hear the faint sound of a lion roar. All in all, I know I will be very emotional.
