I married my ex husband(the father of my two children)twice & we divorced twice.I re-married another man briefly for about 3 months(he took his own life)He has been deceased for almost two years now.So not only am I a divorcee, but now I am a widow.Would this keep me from converting to the Catholic faith? I know the Bible says divorce is not accepted & that you commit adultery if you re-marry.I am not proud of my past, but I can't change it now.I will not re-marry anyone for a very long time, again I'm very sure.I want to get my life straight with God first & then wait on him to send me someone. Can anyone shed some light on this for me????

No. A current invalid marriage prevents someone from joining the Church. I once assisted a priest in admitting a woman dying of breast cancer, even though she had five prior marriages. (You'll find her conversion story posted here as the first post in the "Conversion Stories" forum. Her story is the reason we started the Conversion Stories forum in the first place.)
Unless your prior marriages are declared null, you would not be free to be married again, so it is to your advantage to seek a Declaration of Nullity just to "clean the slate" and allow you to keep your options to a future marriage or religious life open. But it is not an impediment to your entry into the Church.
