I have been asked to prepare a presentation on the Jewish roots of Pentecost.  I have a good deal of knowledge about the Jewish roots of Acts 2, but little knowledge about the liturgy of the RCC.  I would like to find out any possible connections between these Jewish traditions and any special liturgy which may apply to Pentecost Sunday.

Does anyone know where I can find out about Pentecost liturgy in the RCC?

Thanks! (aka. Todah Raba)

Henry

The readings are available on the USCCB web site.

Christus Rex has a reflection on the day's readings plus lists the texts for each of the three liturgical years.

Women for Faith and Family has a lot more about Pentcost including prayers and the Sequence for the day.

Thanks, Rick.  Especially the Women's site was very helpful!

Henry, I would appreciate some insight on the Jewish feast of Pentecost if you would care to share that with us.  Thanks in advance.
