Dh's declaration of nullity has been approved!!!!!!!!!

So now we just have to wait (some more, lol) for the final paperwork and talk to Father about what is my next step.  Dh is really looking forward to going to confession as well.

Thanks for your prayers and encouraging words for me during the past year I've posted here about this.

Congratulations.  Has the provincial review been completed as well, or is that the approval you're speaking of.  Technically, the diocesan tribunal grants a Declaration of Nullity, and the provincial tribunal approves the grant.  If it is the final approval from the provincial tribunal, you could wrap the whole thing up this weekend.  Be sure and send pictures!

Rick, Rick, Rick, you're gettin' . . . like  . . . all techinical and stuff on me.  Whoosh, right over my head ;) LOL

Our diocese sent it to Columbus who said everything was a-ok.  All's I know is it's done!  And we just need to get the final everything from Youngstown.

This weekend, eh?  I need to tell my sponsor!  hehehe

Thanks,
Ali

I read your post in the other thread, and it does indeed appear that it's over except for the paperwork.  See if you can get them to fax a letter to your parish if they haven't done so already.  My general experience with Catholic dioceses is that they are very slow in the mailroom!

Another step closer to home.....
