We are in the process of building an adoration chapel and I need opinions on decoration/artwork. It is a small reactangular area. The short sides will have the door in one and the "altar" (a stained glass window alcove) will be in the other. The one long side has 3 tall, narrow stained glass windows. The other side is a new wall that will have paneling half way up (like the other walls) but is otherwise bare at this point.
We don't want the art to distract but the wall needs something. What is in adoration chapels out there?
--a few smaller pieces of artwork
--one large piece, maybe a tile mural or such
--other thoughts?
Scroll down and read History of the Marian Shrine.
You'll find several links to click, each giving a photograph of various stained-glass windows in the shrine.
It's a small rectangular room.
