Hi everyone. I have, what I know is a very evangelical question.... that being, there are several tenants of the RC faith that I find myself asking, "but where in Scripture does that come from?" I guess it keeps coming back to that for me ... and I know this may be typical evangelicalism ... but, where can I find it? If anyone has any advice for me as to a book, etc. where I could find these things, I'd appreciate knowing. Thanks so much ...

Hi Abby,
Lots of stuff to choose from. For starters, Patrick Madrid has several helpful books. Answer me this, Why is that in tradition, Where is that in the Bible. All can be found here. http://www.ewtnreligiouscatalogue.com/ I have read them all.
I hope this helps.

Thanks so much, Coach. I guess for too many years I've heard "look it up for yourself" .... thus, I have a really hard time swallowing things that I can't find in the Word. Thanks again ...

Hi Kim .... no worry .... I think being a "sucker" for good books is a very safe addiction! You should see the side of my bed! I have so many books there, well, to say I can't get out of that side would be a total understatement!!!! Take care ....

The Patrick Madrid books are very good, as is anything by Scott Hahn, Marcus Grodi, Steve Ray, and of course Dave Armstrong. All are very heavily referenced to scripture.
One online site you might want to visit is Scripture Catholic which gives scriptural references for pretty much all Catholic teaching.
