Are there any women who live in Orange County, CA?  Do you ever attend the Magnificate prayer breakfasts?  Is anyone attending next weekend, where the guest speaker is talking about her post-abortion healing?

Love, Laura

Well, I am a woman, and I am new to Orange County, just moved here. I have never attended a Magnificate Prayer Breakfast though. I am in Irvine, but as of yet I do not have a car. Where and when and what are they?

Oh my gosh!  I am in Costa Mesa, close to Newport Beach.  You might be too new to know how close that is to you, but probably a max of 10-15 minutes away (we measure driving in minutes, not miles).

Here's the email I got from them about this Saturday's breakfast.  They are a charismatic group. (And I am computer illiterate, so I hope I'm not breaking any rules by posting this whole email).  Their breakfasts are at a hotel by Orange County (John Wayne) airport.

If you get on their mailing list and ever want to attend, let me know.  Welcome!

Magnificat, A Ministry to Catholic Women

Orange Diocese Queen of Peace Chapter

Dear Friends of Magnificat,

Ave Maria!  We hope your summer has been blessed.

We are inaugurating a reminder email for Magnificat Prayer Breakfasts for those who have provided emails to us.

Hopefully you received your September 13 Magnificat Flyer in the mail already.  For your convenience, we have attached the flyer as a reminder.

Please be an ambassador for Magnificat and invite a friend to come "magnify the Lord" with us.  Many of you have said Magnificat is a gift you give yourself; a gift that heals and strengthens for the journey.

Our September 13 speaker is Donna Lee whose testimony features her post-abortive transformation through the Eucharist and Divine Mercy.  She will minister to us through her award winning music.

All are invited to receive prayer ministry that day also. Please register as soon as possible.

Our next Prayer Breakfast will be Saturday, November 1st featuring the testimony of Mrs. Mary Ann Shields whose testimony concerns co-redemptive suffering and intercessory life lived in a wheel chair since age 6.

Be well in the arms of Mother Mary.

The Magnificat Service Team:  Kathleen Beckman, Karen Moses, Lori Loy, Inga Jeon, Gloria Rivas and Fr. Raymond Skonezny.
