Hey folks:
No, I'm not at the Catholicxjw Conference. I'm home. Long story...
I also have temporary custody of my 5 year old grandson. I'm going to be taking him to Mass, we pray before we eat, etc.
But I need some help from you good folks. First, what is the best prayer for a child his age to pray before going to bed? And second, can you point me to a good source of Catholic friendly Bible story books that I can read to him at night before he goes to bed?
I would like to send him to Catholic school, but he's not baptized so he doesn't qualify for our Parish's scholarship program. Without financial aid, we can't send him.
Any and all suggestions appreciated!
Thanks!!
Ruth

Try this site:

I hope that this helps and thank you so very much for coming to bat for your grandson. May God grant you wisdom and strength.
Blessings,

Thanks for the Catholic moms link. I watch the grandbaby a few days a week and that will help a lot.
Ok, somehow I found this - not Christian - but jack jumps over the candle stick - well I can only get him to land on the candle stick and he gets a hot seat

Thanks for the links ;-)
The Catholic Children's Bible looks really nice, and Amazon gave me some other options as well.
I'm happy to have my grandson. I just keep running out of energy :-(.
Pax,
Ruth
