| Please pray for my son-in-law to find work as soon as possible. He is a building contractor by trade, but business has dried up. He has been trying to do odd jobs to get by, doing some small remodeling jobs, building decks, etc. but that is not regular either. He has mailed out resumes for jobs but not heard back from any. They are about at the end of their rope, with three children and no prospects for how to pay the mortgage this month or next. Please pray for the Lord's will to allow him to provide for his family. Thanks

| Lord God, Maker of Heaven and earth, hear our prayers for Marsha's son-in-law. You who made the lilies of the field and who clothes the hills with grass, are you not able to provide work for this man and his family? You who own the cattle on a thousand hills, we petition you, gracious Heavenly Father, to open the doors to a place of employment. Lord, use this difficulty to help this family draw upon your strength. May all the praise, honor and glory be given to You. We ask this in the name of the Blessed Triune God, who lives and reigns forever and ever! Amen

Marsha, I will be praying about this. It's so hard to see adult children struggle. Sometimes I long for the simplicity of my son's childhood when I could scoop him up, rock him, and sing soothing songs.
Keep us posted.

Darlene, thank you for such a moving prayer. I know it helped. I do believe our prayer is multiplied in heaven, and God uses it in a thousand ways we don't even know about.
Becky, yes it is hard to see our adult children suffer, and not be able to help them like we could when they were little. Oh, for the days of kool-aid and bandaids!
