Hi friends,

Please join me in prayer seeking God's will regarding a Director of Religious Education position.  I found this on the CatholicJobs.com site recently.
Who knows, maybe some of y'all will be up for the same job?

I've got YEARS of education and experience as a Baptist that I hope to  "retread" as a Catholic.  In 2005 I entered into full communion with the Catholic Church after years of slowly drawing closer. Now, I hope folks will give me the chance to serve.  I've been teaching CCD and my friends at the parish I attend recognize my gifts and call on me to use them.

Still, I'd like to get back to having a full time employment using these. I've been driving a truck and now working in a warehouse since becoming Catholic. These are sacrifices I'm glad to make. There certainly was not ANY way to remain a Baptist pastor once I came to believe in the Real Presence of Jesus in the sacrament. When I held up the bread at the Lord's Supper and quoted Jesus saying, "this is my body." I believed that the Lord meant what he said, so, off to Rome!

It's in the Lord's hands.  And a few close friends of his who we call saints, like St. John Vianney, St. Benedict Joseph Labre, St. Therese (my favorite girlfriend) and the one I owe my call to the Catholic CHurch for his witness, the Servant of God, John Paul II !!!

Thanks,

Monte

Monte, with all my heart I am praying that you will soon find your calling within the Church. You have been most patient and persevering in obedience to the Lord.

May God bless you Monte with endurance and faith and hope. May your hope in Him be rewarded with employment in his Church to assist, serve and teach  the people of God. Amen

Monte, I will be praying as well.

God be with you as you seek your place in His service.

Monte, I am praying for you.  You have been waiting for an opportunity like this and I truly hope this is the one!  God be with Monte as he goes into this interview, and if it be within your will, let him serve you here.

Monte, is your poll just for ministers?

Lord of the Powers be with us, for in times of distress we have no other help but You.
Lord of the Powers, have mercy on Monte and supply for him Jesus gainful employment within the Church using the talents you gave him.  All for you honor and glory Jesus!
