Greetings In The Name of Christ,
I am so excited. The books came in today from CHN. I can hardly wait to read them and soak up what they have. But....
My wife opened them up from the package and it caused a stir with her. She thinks I have no business reading any of the material. Please pray as I can give her answers that come from my heart.
Blessings...
Terry Foss

Maybe this is an opportunity to encourage her to read the books, since she disapproves of them, and to bookmark the spots that she think are off course from what she knows of Christianity. Then you can both investigate Scripture and the earliest Christian writers to find out the truth.

Or even silently book mark them and then just leave them on the table or whatever- curiosity alone will usually cause people to open them Leaving the Rock around as well as other books did wonders in my houselhold- none of us can go long without reading and even the rock was more interesting that cereal boxes when our paper came late as usual! I also left them in our bathroom magazine rack- another place where I find that the males in my famliy will read just about anything!

| I like Jane's idea. Open disapproval is opportunity for open discussion rather than just being quietly steamed!

| I will keep you and your wife in my prayers today. I pray the Holy Spirit opens her heart to truth and to wherever you are taken. God bless you.

I like this idea too! My wife is a non-denom (who loves Jesus and Scripture very much) who doesn't care for things Catholic. I have not ordered books because I don't care for the confrontation that may ensue when they are received.
May the Holy Spirit give me wisdom.

| In my house no one was willing to talk about the issues until they had read the literaure- that is why leaving reading materials out all over was so successful in my home- since we are all readers it gave them a chance to ask the questions in their own time in the way they wanted with out feeling like they were being "led" into topics by me. for example the"bad Popes" my kids were convinced that the problem with the authority vested in Popes was that there were corrupt ones. After reading an article in the Rock they realized that the Popes that they had been taught were morrally corrupt were on a very short list out of a very long lineage of Popes- my son immediately did the percentage math and was impressed by how low it was- but if I had tried to explain the very same thing they would have balked. Of course it helps that they go to Catholic schools and are learning in Theology class away from Mom too.

Greetings,
It's great that you are gathering these materials. Be bold in following the Lord's guidance. Let the Holy Spirit lead you and all around you.
