Hi all,
The pastor of my wife's evangelical Prot congregation is being drawn more and more back to the Church...he was raised Catholic...and I thought you could join me in prayer for him and his wife...also raised Catholic.
He is a devout Christian. God has worked, and is working, through him to bring people to Jesus. He is gaining a national reputation as an author and speaker.
A few years ago, he took a sabbatical to attend some monasteries. Since that time, he almost always quotes the Church Fathers in his sermons, and is trying to get the congregation into contemplative prayer and the Divine Office.
During a workshop on Revelation, he said that the woman of Revelation 12 is...Mary!
Now, he is preaching...the Theology of the Body (but not calling it that...he told me privately).
I am friendly with him and have told him of my return to the Church a few years ago. I've been gingerly approaching him on the important issues.
When and his wife return to the Church...and I firmly believe they will...it will send ripples through the evangelical community because of his growing national reputation.
I will rejoice on the day Marcus interviews him and his wife on The Journey Home!
So, please join in as I continue to pray for him, and the congregation he pastors.
Peace,
Gene

| I would rejoice along with you and heaven if Marcus has him and his wife on the show. What a glorious day that would be! I will pray for him and his wife to return to the Catholic Church, and to be witnesses leading others also.

| Christ, the true Light, You enlighten and sanctify every man. May Your light shine in us that we may see Your radiance. Help us to live according to Your commandments, through the prayers of Your all-pure Mother and all Your Saints. Amen.
