Trevor Lipscombe: Former Agnostic/Nominal Anglican

January 14, 2013 No Comments

Trevor Lipscombe was born in London and lived in England through his scholastic studies at Oxford University where he received his doctorate in theoretical physics.  His parents’ divorce and his mother’s subsequent death when he was 4, affected him deeply, without the benefit of a religious foundation.  By his teens, Trevor intellectually was being pulled into Marxist thought.  It was not until he was sidelined for a period of nine months with a broken neck from playing rugby, that he began to experience a religious stirring.  Trevor shares with Marcus the journey which led him into the Catholic Church.  Today, he serves as the Director of The Catholic University of America Press.
