Charles Wadlow grew up in Seattle in a blended family of five, with a mother who was Southern Baptist and a Catholic father who was born in England.  The result for Charles was a love of scripture and of Jesus with a sacramental foundation.  Charles came into his own in high school. and then went on to college.  Following college, he sought fellowship with believers.  With a lack of opportunities in his local parish, Charles began attending various evangelical Protestant churches and their Bible studies.  He was introduced to the early Church Fathers which opened his heart to the history and Sacred Tradition of Catholicism.  Ultimately, through caring for his dying mother, who had previously converted, and a desire for the Eucharist, Charles returned to the roots of the Catholic Church.
